INTRODUCTION . 2 TATA MOTORS Founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1868, the Tata group is a global enterprise, headquartered in India, comprising over 100 independent operating companies. Tata Motors Group, a USD 42 billion organisation , is a leading automobile manufacturer with a portfolio that includes a wide range of cars, sports vehicles, trucks, buses and defence vehicles. Our marque can be found on and off-road in over 175 countries around the globe.

Our interventions focus on health, education, employability and environment, impacting over 5,80,000 lives in India. Tata Motors is committed to sustainable development, where business goes hand in hand with societal wellbeing and environmental consciousness.

1 .AROGYA Health 5  We have set up community hospital infrastructure in Jamshedpur and have been running programmes to address leprosy, malnutrition, etc. for many decades now. Under our CSR programme for health – Aarogya , we operate mobile health clinics for remote, last mile tribal community outreach in Pune . We have tied up with Anganwadis and nutrition rehabilitation centres across India to ensure better nutrition and health awareness for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers. Our initiatives also focus on holding awareness sessions for adolescent girls to address their queries on puberty, health and hygiene. 2,76,464 - Beneficiaries of preventive and curative health services 34,974 - People benefitted from health awareness sessions 2,085 - Children treated for malnutrition

Encouraging students to participate in co-curricular activities ensures their holistic growth. 2 . VIDYADHANAM Education 6 Tata Motors extends support to deserving students as well as the holistic development of education infrastructure and services. The focus of our education programme remains not just on the academic, but also on the physical and sociological development, along with inculcation of values. The key projects under Vidyadhanam include: Scholarships Financial aid to students of IITs and government engineering colleges Coaching classes Special coaching for IIT-JEE and other competitive exams School infrastructure improvement 37,937 - Students attended special coaching classes 15,843 - Students benefitted through school infrastructure improvement 30,411 - Students engaged in life skills and co-curricular activities 2,731 - Beneficiaries of scholarships and financial aid 161 - Students availed IIT-JEE coaching

Education and skill development are key to creating a talent pool of skilled manpower . 3. KAUSHALYA Employability or Skilling 7 Tata Motors has partnered with various skill development centres across India to address this issue. To enhance the quality of training, we have developed standardised course content for automotive trades as well as partnered with reputed NGOs having previous experience of running skill development programmes Our skill development programme can be categorised as: Training youth in automotive trades such as drivers, mechanics, etc. Training youth in marketable vocational skills such as electrician, nursing assistant, etc. Capacity building of community-based groups in agriculture and allied industries 82,169 - Youth trained in automotive and allied trades 3,465 - Youth trained in marketable vocational trades 1,388 - Farmers and women benefitted from capacity building programmes 729 - People benefitted from entrepreneurship development

VASUNDHARA Environment 9 40,908 -People reached through environmental awareness sessions 2,638 -People reached during promotion of renewable energy 1,00,468 - Saplings planted Tata Motors, under the environment-related CSR programme – Vasundhara , strives to contribute to enhanced environmental sustainability by proactively facilitating the protection, conservation, judicious use and augmentation of natural resources. With our initiatives under Vasundhara , we aim to promote environmental consciousness among community members, school students and our employees by engaging them in plantation and cleanliness drives. The underlying vision is that environment being a common global concern, any effort at promoting environmental sustainability at a local level would benefit the environment as well as local communities and society at large. We also encourage community members to use renewable energy products like solar lamps and promote innovative products like fuel efficient chulhas that reduce the carbon footprint.

5. AMRUTDHARA Drinking Water 10 Tata Motors, under the Amruthdhara programme , has been working towards providing safe drinking water across India. Water scarcity and water inequality is one of the major concerns affecting India’s overall development. To address the issue of drinking water needs of disadvantaged communities, Tata Motors has initiated Amrutdhara . The programme not only addresses the concerns relating to safe drinking water, but also helps in improving health, fostering gender equality and promoting social equality . 1,00,000 – Beneficiaries 25 - Litres water made available per person per day 40 %+ - Beneficiaries belong to the SC/ST category Rs. 20 - Per month voluntary contribution by employees

Tata Motors has been nurturing the talent of youth hailing from the SC/ST community . 6. AADHAAR Community Development 11 Tata Motors Affirmative Action (AA) programme , Aadhaar , is aimed at serving traditionally disadvantaged communities, such as Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), with a focus on the 4E's – Education, Employability, Entrepreneurship and Employment . Aadhaar has been integrated with our CSR programme for improved efficiency and better reach. In addition to deploying forty percent of the CSR budget for the AA programme , we have developed synergetic inter-linkage among the AA focus areas. In lined with our philosophy of ‘More from less for More’, we have partnered with various state governments for skill development of SC/ST youth in automotive trades. Our dealers have been strategically involved with the LEAP programme which aims at training underprivileged youth as motor mechanics. 6,199 - SC/ST students benefitted from special coaching classes 870 - Scholarships awarded to SC/ST students 1,846 - Apprentices recruited belong to the SC/ST community 40 % - CSR budget earmarked for the AA programme 26 - SC/ST vendors associated with the company’s supply chain

Through Seva , we aim to encourage a culture of empathy and action among our colleagues. 7. SEVA Volunteering 12 The volunteering programme of Tata Motors, Seva , is aimed at providing employees and their families with varied opportunities to meaningfully volunteer their time for social causes. We at Tata Motors continue to nurture a vibrant culture of volunteering by involving our employees and their families in our aspiration to meaningfully contribute to social causes. We see volunteering as a character building activity that helps all our employees in becoming socially responsible individuals . 11,130 - Employees volunteered in various initiatives 47,151 - Working hours contributed
