WH-WORDS They are what, where, how, among others. We use what to ask about the name of a person. For instance: What is your name? My name is Jessica. My name is Andrea. My name is Mariano.
WHAT We also use what to ask about hobbies or physical activities that you like, such as: What do you do in your free time? I like playing Volleyball.
I like doing yoga. I like watching series.
WHERE We use where to ask about the place such as the city/ town where someone lives. For example: Where are you from? I’m from Monteros. I’m from Simoca. I’m from Santa Lucia. I’m from Concepción
HOW We use how to ask about the age of a person, as in the following example: How old are you? I’m 18 years old. I’m 20 years old. I’m 22 years old. I’m 25 years old.
WH-QUESTIONS We use a formula for asking questions, such as: Wh-word + verb To Be + Subject as in the following question: Where are you from? I’m from Simoca.
PRESENT CONTINUOUS: INTERROGATIVE FORM We use a formula for asking questions, such as: Verb To be + Subject + Main verb with ING, as in the following question: Is she swimming? Yes, she is.
