Case This is a 12 year old male child who was admitted to causality ward with the assessment of pineal region tumor non germinomatous GCT , Bilateral visual loss, Central diabetes insipidus, Increased ICP, HAI He took 3 cycles of NGGCT protocol Chemo , was on desmopressin Phenytoin. He died after three days of stay with the possible cause immediate cause of death being increased ICP, and intermediate cause of death is HAI, and sepsis, underlying cause of death is NGGCT. He was on follow up at amstegna and currently he presented with a compliant of abnormal behavior , head ache and projectile vomiting of one day duration.
Physical exam at presentation GA-ASL V/S- Bp - 118/70 –N, PR- 120 RR-28 T- 36 CNS- GCS-15/15 - meningeal signs are neg No focal neurological deficit Ix- Wbc - 8k N-89% L10% Hb-14 Plt - 401k Serum electrolyte –N
