In these cases, supplier and customer reach an agreement to agree on a discount in exchange for the return of these products. It is a beneficial operation for both parties, because the product has no value for the customer. Reusing a product not only has an economic value for the supplier, it also has a positive impact on the environment because fewer resources are consumed. REMANUFACTURE Useful components can be extracted from some products to form part of new final products . Remanufacturing is when part of a product will be used to make a new one . It is also a respectful alternative to the environment and lucrative for the manufacturing company , and a way to promote it from reverse logistics . DESTROY There are products that cannot be recycled , reused or remanufactured , so they must be directly destroyed . The way to manage this destruction will be more efficient if it is carried out by the production company , because it is specialized in the product . Returning a product to be destroyed is not the most recommended alternative in ecological terms , but sometimes it is the only viable one .
