Slide: # 1 MUBS ENGLISH PROGRAM Read the following and try to guess the meaning of the underlined terminologies: It is true that divorce affects the children and often child protective services are needed to help them, yet a woman who is violated sometimes suffers from an ethical dilemma : Should she protect her children or should she protect her pride? Most women are given the advice to endure the violation for the sake of the children or not to face feminization of poverty . Such cases can never be treated with negligence . Interviews and counseling techniques should start when violence is reported. If there is no guardian to protect the children, further diagnosis of the case should be taken. When a mother loses her self efficacy , a safety net should interfere to save her children from the consequences. Such interferences would serve as a harm reduction model for saving children from the effects of divorce.
