Here i am trying to explain the basic of Deaerator, and the function of deaerator.

2. Purpose of deaerator provide NPSH to BFP removal of gasses act as a heat exchanger

3. Mechanical deaeration by a feed water deaerator can cut the amount of chemical consumables used for water conditioning for a continuing operating cost saving.

4. Principle of Deaeration Henrys law: gas solubility in a solution decreases as the gas partial pressure above the solution decreases .

5. Principle of Deaeration: Solubility Law: Solubility of gases decreases with increase in solution temperature .

8. The feed water is sprayed in thin films into a steam atmosphere allowing it to become quickly heated to saturation. Spraying feed water in thin films increases the surface area of the liquid in contact with the steam, which, in turn, provides more rapid oxygen removal and lower gas concentrations. This process reduces the solubility of all dissolved gases and removes it from the feed water.
