Deeper Impact

1 Thessalonians 4:10-12 10 Indeed, your love is already strong toward all the Christians in all of Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we beg you to love them more and more. 11 This should be your ambition: to live a quiet life , minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we commanded you before.

1 Thessalonians 4:10-12 12 As a result, people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others to meet your financial needs.

Were living in generation that the most virtuous thing to do is to get more and more likes on us.

Jesus did not pursue followers, in fact He run away from them.

It is unusual for us today that we run for followers and crowd.

Luke 16:10-11 10 "Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones . If you cheat even a little, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. 11 And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?

You need to learn to be faithful in small things God want you to do, before you can be the voice of the world.

Because this world will never run out of people who can talk, but we need more examples not more voices.

1 Timothy 3:3-6 3 He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, peace loving, and not one who loves money. 4 He must manage his own family well , with children who respect and obey him. 5 For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God's church?

1 Timothy 3:3-6 6 An elder must not be a new Christian, because he might be proud of being chosen so soon, and the Devil will use that pride to make him fall .

If someone does not know how to manage himself and his family how can he manage the church of Christ?

NLT Matthew 6:1 "Take care! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired , because then you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.

NLT Matthew 6:1-8 2 When you give a gift to someone in need, don't shout about it as the hypocrites do-- blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity ! I assure you, they have received all the reward they will ever get.

NLT Matthew 6:1-8 3 But when you give to someone, don't tell your left hand what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in secret, and your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you . 5 "And now about prayer. When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I assure you, that is all the reward they will ever get.

NLT Matthew 6:1-8 6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you .

NLT Matthew 6:1-8 7 "When you pray, don't babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their words again and again. 8 Don't be like them, because your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

Did someone wants to do in secret today? Even our “quiet time”, we post it in social media. @followers, time with Jesus

Our generation today practice hiding sin and confessing good work.

James 5:16 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Maybe create apps sinstagram

Maybe God don’t want to do something Big in your life because you will post it.

Mark 1:35-38 35 The next morning Jesus awoke long before daybreak and went out alone into the wilderness to pray . 36 Later Simon and the others went out to find him. 37 They said, "Everyone is asking for you." 38 But he replied, "We must go on to other towns as well, and I will preach to them, too, because that is why I came ."

Lets us live a life, pleasing to God so that you fulfill our God-ordained mission.

To Do List Make your aim to live a quite life Fulfill God’s ordained missions for you Work with your hands

1 Peter 2:9 9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people . You are a kingdom of priests , God's holy nation , his very own possession. This is so you can show others the goodness of God , for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
