5. Indigenous Microorganism (IMO) Materials: Cooked rice/kan-on (1 kilo) Molasses / mascuvado 3 . Bamboo / kawayan (pinikas) 4 . Pail 5 . Manila P aper

6. Procedure Prepare the following: Split bamboo, Cooked rice. 2. Put 1 kg cooked rice in bamboo. Let it cool 3. Cover it with manila paper and Label. 4. Place them in outside near the tree under partial shade (not too much light) 5. Collect them after 3-5 days. At this time you can see mold which is orange or white in color.

7. Methods of Multiplication Culture of IMO (Proliferation of IMO) Put the fermented rice (molded rice) in the pail and mix it with 1 kg Mascuvado/molasses. Or mix them with 1:1 ratio. (1 part molded rice to 1 part Mascuvado) Place the mixture in jar or in bamboo then cover them with manila paper. Bury the bamboo contained with the mixture about 6 inches or leave Leave it for 6 to 7 days. The IMO is ready to used.  

8. How to use the IMO Mix 2 tbsp. of IMO with 1 liter water in the sprayer. Be sure to dissolve them properly to avoid clogging in the nozzle of sprayer. S pray in foliage or in the base of the plant. You can also drench solution on the base of the plant. The application time between 4:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon because IMO is active in this time.

9. 3. Do the application 7 to 10 day interval from transplanting up to flowering. You can apply this to any crop like: corn, rice , banana , fruit trees, and vegetable crops . 4. You can also mix the IMO with the compost to hasten decomposition and enriched the compost .

10. 5. After several days from application, you can see the whitish mycelium of IMO on the soil. Keep the soil moist to favor the growth of the IMO. The IMO also make compact soil loss to facilitate proper root penetration of the plant . The IMO is a kind of fungi that live symbiosis with the plant and leaving plant nutrient as they die in the soil.

11. Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ) Materials : Any of the following: Kangkong/Alugbate Banana speudostem (ubad) Camote tops Manila paper Bamboo/pail Jar & Twine

12. Procedure Collect the identified plant materials before sunrise. Do this so that the plants have plenty of energy stored in their tissue. 2.Chop 1 kg of the plant materials, then mix them with 1 kg mascuvado sugar . 3. Put them immediately in the jar and cover with Manila paper, then tie.

13. 4. Bury in a place which can not be reached with direct sunlight. 5. Leave for 7 days. The Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ) is now ready to used. Put them immediately in the jar and cover with Manila paper, then tie.

14. Procedure for Use Mix 2 tbsp. of FPJ with 1 liter of water in the sprayer. Spray on foliage and can drench on soil at the base of the plant. Do this during afternoon time from 4:00 to 6:00 . Repeat application every 7 to 10 days interval in the following plants: Rice- 7 days from planting Corn- 7 days from planting until silking stage. Banana- 10 days from planting until flowering. Fruits- Every 10 days.

15. Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) Materials: Any kind of fruits Jar or Pail Manila paper Mascuvado/ Molasses Twine/ Tie

16. Procedure Prepare and slice 1 kg identified fruit trees. 2. Put the first haft of it in the jar, then add kg of mascuvado. Add another haft of the remaining chopped fruits, then add again the remaining mascuvado sugar.  

17. 3. Cover them with Manila paper then tie it. 4. Bury them in the soil about 6 inches deep on the place which can not be exposed under direct sunlight. 5. Let it stand for 7 days. The material is now ready to use after 7 days.

18. The FFJ can be used to the following crop: Corn- at the start of tassel development until a week before harvesting. Banana- start at flower emergence until a week before harvesting. The FFJ is the source of potassium needed to sweeten the fruits. It add resistance to in plant and enhance soil fertility.

19. Fish Amino Acid (FAA) Materials: Fish gills or crush Kuol Jar of bamboo Mascuvado Twine Manila paper/bond

20. Procedure Mix one 1 kg of fish gills or crushed kuol with 1 kg mascuvado. Put the mixture immediately into the jar then cover with Manila paper and tie with twine. Bury into the soil about 6 inches deep on the place which can not be hit by direct sunlight. Let it stand for about 14 days. The FAA can be used after this period.

21. How to use the FAA Mix 2 tbsp. FAA with 1 liter of water. Use this as foliar spray or drenching solution to the base of the plant. Repeat application at 7-10 days interval in newly planted crop until initiation of flower. Spray or apply in the morning 4:00-6:00, and in the afternoon 4:00-6:30.

22. In rice, apply 7 days after planting until panicle initiation at 10 days interval. In corn, apply 7 days after sowing until silking stage at 10 days interval. In other crops, apply every 7 days.

23. Fish Amino Acid is essential as Nitrogen source and enhancer to plant growth. It aid in chlorophyll formation in plant leaves. It helps to restore problems on flower and fruit drops particularly in acid soil requiring fruit trees. is essential as Nitrogen sourced.

Preserve for 12 hours, then mix with 1 kg mascuvado, cover it with Manila paper and tie. Bury into the soil about 6 inches deep in the place that can not be reached with direct sunlight. After 4-5 days, add the Gin into it and bury it again. Wait for about 7-10 days. The OHN is now ready to use.

26. How to use the Oriental Herbal Nutrient Mix 2 tbsp. OHN with 1 liter of water in the sprayer, spray as foliar or use as drenching solution on the base of the plant. Spray during morning 5:00-6:00 in the morning or 4:00-6:00 in the afternoon. The Oriental Herbal Nutrients is a kind of Herbal Pesticide designed to control insect and fungal diseases of plant. 27. Calcium Phosphate (CALPHOS) Materials: Animal bone Egg shell Jar Coco vinegar Manila paper Roaster grill

28. Procedure Roast or grill 1 kg bone until it resembles a charcoal. It would be better if the bone can be grind before roasting so that it can easily be burned. Roast also egg shell. Grind to powder the roasted bone and egg shell and mix with 10 liters of coconut vinegar. Put the solution in the jar and cover with Manila paper then tie. Store it for about 30 days. The calcium phosphate can be used after this process.

29. How to use Calcium Phosphate Mix 2 tbsp. in 1 liter of water. Drench this in the soil. Apply between 5-6 in the morning, and 4-6 in the afternoon. Apply at 7 days interval in the following crops: Rice: From panicle initiation until dough stage (2 weeks before harvest) Corn: From 45 to 90 days old after planting. Banana, vegetables, and fruits: From flower initiation until 2 weeks before harvest.
