1. During the children’s Weighing session held at the clinic for the preschool children, it was noticed that Subha did not attend to it with her son, Sawindu who was 3 ½ years old. The next day, the midwife visited Subha’s house and found that Subha’s child, Sawindu , had been having diarrhoea for two days. Subha said that Sawindu passed watery stools about 10 times the previous day and also vomiting as well. On examination the midwife found Sawindu was having mild dehydration. Also, she remembered that Sawindu had recurrent episodes of diarrhea during the last few months as well. The midwife said to Subha that Sawindu could go to malnutrition as he gets recurrent episodes of diarrhea.
