Difference between corporate philanthropy & csr Part-Iii Foundation for Philanthropic Services Enhancement (FPSE)

Difference between Corporate Philanthropy and CSR? Corporate Philanthropy: Corporate philanthropy has a narrower, more limited scope than corporate social responsibility. It refers primarily to donations made to charitable and non-profit groups, whether by the corporation, its employees or both. It might also refer to company wide fundraising efforts or pledge drives, or to toy donation or blood donation drives, for example.

Difference between Corporate Philanthropy and CSR? Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Corporate social responsibility not only deals with corporate philanthropy but also other issues that affect the environment, consumers, human rights, supply-chain sustainability and transparency for the greater good of the world at large. Businesses that integrate social responsibility into their missions acknowledge that their business processes have an impact beyond the company. Therefore, they address issues like philanthropy, environmental-impact assessments and providing good working conditions etc.
