Public Administration The term 'Public Administration' is difficult to define precisely because of its vast array of activities. -Public administration is detailed and systematic application of law. Every particular application of law is an act of administration - Wilson, W. (1887) – Public administration consists of all those operations having for their purpose the fulfillment or enforcement of public policy - White L. D. (1926) Public administration may be defined as all processes, organizations, and individuals (the latter acting in official positions and roles) associated with carrying out laws and other rules adopted or issued by legislatures, executives, and courts - Gordon, G.J. & Milakovich, M.E. (1995)

Private Public Administration Private Administration  is  defined  as management and organisation of  private  business enterprises. It is an  administrative  function carried out by the  private  individuals or a group, to earn a profit. It is a business activity which is non-political in nature .
