Different Kinds of Sentences

Declarative: A sentence which states something it ends with a period ( . ) Ex. The Jews were not treated well in Egypt

Interrogative: A sentence that ask a question and it ends with a question mark ( ? ) Ex. Did you hear something ? Did you love her?

Imperative: A Sentence which expresses a command or an order. It may end with either a period or an exclamatory point ( . ) ( ! ) Ex Go away from me! Go outside and close the door.

exclamatory A sentence which expresses a strong feeling or emotion. It ends with an exclamatory point ( ! ) Ex. I hate you ! Wow ! T here is a Fire!
