White-collared kingfishers have a turquoise head and wings with a broad, white collar bordered by a narrow, black line. They have white chest feathers, black feet and bill. Males tend to have a slightly more blue tinge, while females tend to have a slightly more green tinge.
WHITE-EARED BROWN DOVE
A White-eares brown dove fairly small dove of forest and edge from the lowlands to the lower mountains. Brown above, with a gray or pinkish head, neck, and chest, bluish iridescence on the back of the neck, a pale pinkish belly, and white corners to the tail.
RED-KEELED FLOWERPECKER
Red-Keeled Flowerpecker, has top and side of head and upperparts black, glossed blue; chin and throat white, breast and belly grey, with scarlet stripe down middle; underwing and concealed pectoral tufts white; iris dark chestnut to dark brown; bill dark brown to black; legs greyish-brown or black. Sexes similar.
MAGNIFICENT SUNBIRD
A Magnificent Sunbird, stunning small bird of lowland and foothill scrub and gardens in the western Visayas. Male has a bright red head, back, and chest, a purple forehead, a broadening purple mustache stripe, a purple tail, black wings and belly, and a bright yellow patch on the lower back.
OLIVE-BACKED SUNBIRD
Olive-Backed Sunbird, Males are deep metallic-blue on forehead, lores, around eyes, chin, cheeks, throat and upper breast, contrasting with bright yellow underparts are distinctive features. Upperparts dull olive brown. Females have upperparts dull olive brown; underparts all yellow.
BROWN SHRIKE
This Brown shrike is mainly brown on the upper parts and the tail is rounded. The black mask can be paler in winter and has a white brow over it. The underside is creamy with rufous flanks and belly. The wings are brown and lack any white "mirror" patches.
