Tucked-in selvedge When the weft cutter cuts weft thread, a tail of weft is left outside the fabric edge and becomes a rough edge fabric. In tucked-in selvedge the tail edges of the weft yarns are woven back into the shed of the fabric , form a neat and clean selvedge. For the formation of tuck in selvedge we require a tuck in device which insert back the weft tails .
