From figure (A) & (C), it is clear that, cyclone, heavy storm hits at the southern part of our country. Whereas; flood attacks the northern part of this land. Again , From figure (B) & (C), flash flood is happened at some eastern part, & drought is a phenomena of north western part. Bangladesh has become earthquake-prone gradually. Occasionally, the country witness small and moderate earthquakes. In 2023 alone, Bangladesh saw a surge in earthquakes, recording six incidents above 5.0 on the Richter scale The map shows that, North east part is more EQ hazardous , and south west part is less vulnerable. Future risks There are sub- duction zones in the east and north of the country while three major active faults have been found so far having potential to generate 7.0–8.5 magnitude earthquake
