SMOKING Involves the inhalation of smoke originating from Tobacco. TOBACCO contains NICOTINE, a chemical which is responsible for the relieving effects and addictiveness of smoking.
2 CATEGORYOF SMOKE First hand smoke- intentionally inhaled by the smoker. Second hand smoke- smoke exposed to non-smoker ( sidestream smoke) More toxic due to incomplete burning.

EMPHYSEMA An excessive inflation of the alveoli, causing it difficulty to contract and release air from the lungs. Symptoms: coughing and shortness of breath.
TUBERCULOSIS Caused by bacterial infection from Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Symptoms: cough with blood and fever
PNEUMONIA A disease where the lungs and alveoli is filled with mucus. Caused by certain bacteria and viruses. Covid 19 may also caused pneumonia SYMPTOMS: cough, fever and shortness of breath.
ASTHMA Involves constriction of air passageway which makes it difficult to allow entry and exit of air. It can be genetics or triggered by dust, pollen SYMPTOMS: difficulty breathing and wheezing, high pit.
BRONCHITIS Similar to asthma that involves constriction of passageway. Caused by bacterial or viral infection.
