The learner demonstrates appreciation of contemporary art forms, found in the various regions by understanding the elements and principles

The learner presents a form of integrated contemporary art based on the region of his/ her choice. E.g. choreography, musical instrument,
literary and music composition, visual design, and/or theatrical performance.

Evaluate contemporary art forms based on the elements and principles
D.Specific Objectives
Cognitive: Describe Contemporary Art and Modern Art
Psychomotor: Discuss the difference between modern and contemporary art
Affective: Express his/her emotion about the pandemic through drawing

Humanities or Sciences?
Direction: Fill a box with scenarios or any word related to Humanities and Sciences. Group the class into 2-4 teams depending on the class
size. Let them pick each and choose if it describes humanities or sciences. Have a brief introduction on humanities relating it to contemporary
arts.

Direction: Show some paintings or artworks to students and let the students describe each according to subject and theme. The students may
write answers on the board.

Direction: Using the same picture with the previous activity, ask the students to define contemporary art and modern art using their own word.

Direction: Let the students read the definition of contemporary art and modern art. Explain the terms briefly.

Venn Diagram
Direction: Using a Venn diagram, allow the learners to define contemporary and modern art by writing down their similarities and differences.

Drawing
Direction: Let the students express their feelings about the pandemic through drawing. Tell them to write a short description about the
drawing at the back of the paper. Provide materials if necessary. Present the rubric/criteria.

Parade of Art Work
Direction: Let the students show their artwork to the class through a parade. Make sure to do this following safety protocols. Ask volunteers to
explain their work.
