6. Midstream and Gas Utility
Within the midstream and gas utility market, DistributionNOW o•ers 
unparalleled products and services. All of the processes between the
wellhead and the re?nery or city gate are considered midstream, which
includes the gathering, processing and production clean-up of sulphur
and CO2. Midstream also includes water removal from the well site. ?e
midstream segment can also consist of the transport of crude oil, natural gas,
natural gas liquids (NGL), separation NGL (including ethane, propane and
butane) from the stream. Storage and transportation of lique?ed natural gas
by pipeline, barge, or truck is also part of the midstream nomenclature. Local
