Do It Scared

When my partner in crime (and business), Laurel Hess, was considering quitting her job to start her own agency, she was—understandably—scared.

Her friend had one thing to say: "Then do it scared."

Without that one simple piece of advice, we would not be here with a kickass team and a kickass company.

Fear and excitement are essentially the same emotion.

So next time you're feeling scared, tell yourself it's just excitement clouded by doubt.
