Course outcomes will be attained through direct and indirect methods.
Direct Attainment: We will consider the following criteria in the direct attainment. Internal tests will be
conducted based on Cos.
Class performance activities consisting of CIE/Formative assessment Like assignments / tutorials/
experiments/quiz/any other activity related to COs will be conducted.
A common format of programmed excel sheet will be used for finding the average attainment of Cos.
The following table shows the three target levels:
Low, Moderate and High attainment for

There are four levels of outcome such asCourse Outcome (CO),
Program Specific Outcome (PSO) Program Outcome (PO), and
Program Educational Objective (PEO).
Course Outcomes are the statements that declare what students
should be able to. do at the end of a course.
Creating a link between the Course Outcomes (Cos)
and program outcomes (POs), for each lesson and
assessment is called CO-PO Mapping. It helps
toencourage and apply Outcome Based Education
