3. DRUG INSPECTOR (introduction) Drug inspector is a professional in the field of pharmacy, who is an expert in monitering and executing safety, quality and usefulness of drugs from the production stage to the selling stage.

4. Qualification and eligibility to become drug inspector Candidate are required to go through a selection process conducted by the UPSC (union public servise commission) and/or SPSCs (state public service commission). Minimum age required :-21 years old. Maximum age required:-30 years old and relaxation of 5 years for reserved catogary candidates at some organisations .

5. Candidate need to have complete his gradution in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or clinical pharmacology from a recoganise university. 18 months experience in manufacture of schedule C drug. Or 18 months experience in testing of schedule C drug.

9. Inspection of manufactured drugs. Examine any records ,register documents or any other materials object with any person. Drug inspector has the authority to cancel the license of such business units which are found having irregularities in term of complains of standerds related to safety quality and hygenic premises.
