Introduction It is drive from two Greek word Dys means abnormal or disorder, and Thymia means interpretation or feelings. Dysthymia was not consider a specific disorder. Dysthymia prefers to mild depression that last atleast two years in adult or one year in children. It is twice as common in women then men’s and more prevalent among poor and unmarried persons.

Worthlessness Defective personal and social life and occupational functioning. Loss of interest Loss of pleasure Difficulty in decision making Sadness Decrease sexual urge

Etiology

Diagnostic Evaluation Carefully psychiatric examination and medical history based on ICD 10 criteria.
