Title- Integrative psychotherapy in recurrent depressive disorder: A case series Debanjan Bhattacharjee*, Shivarama Varambally, Vijay Kumar K G NIMHANS. Introduction- Several psycho-social factor leads to recurrence in depression and diverse clinical presentation which can be addressed by integrated psychotherapy. 1,2 Case series -3 female patients aged 60, 36, and 24 years respectively with RDD with somatic and anxiety symptoms were treated with integrative psychotherapy. Integrative techniques included cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, grounding, and stress-management techniques combined with tele-psychotherapy. MOOD DISORDERS - CME 2021
Results - Significant improvement was noted in depressive, somatic, and anxiety symptoms were noted with improvement in HDRS scores . Conclusion - Integrative psychotherapy combined with tele-therapy can be an effective way to treat and prevent recurrence in RDD.
