Economic Empowerment Through Agriculture Agriculture provides a means of Economic Empowerment to up to 75% of the population in various ways Ways they are empowered : Through involvement with agricultural production Working in Argo based industries that use raw materials Involved in marketing and research

Ways of Economic Empowerment:Through Agriculture Pt 1 Agriculture can put money into Peoples hands to help solve their problems through: 1: Rearing Livestock -provides a lot of products which are sold to earn money -such as meat, milk, & skin -employment is provided as farm attendants and farm managers 2: Cultivating crops -yam, tomato, cocoa, groundnut, and cassava is produced and then sold to earn a living 3- Sales of farm produce -earn their living through small- or large-scale marketing of agricultural produce - wholesalers or retailers work in this sector

Ways of Economic Empowerment: Through Agriculture Pt 2 4: Rendering services There are a lot of services that are related to agriculture, such as Farm cultivation Weeding of the farm Harvesting of crops Packaging of agricultural products Loading/unloading of produce Veterinary services 4: Skill acquisition The education of farmers through workshops and seminars teach and equip the learners with skills that make them earn a living
