About This Presentation

The estimated due date (EDD or EDC) is the date that spontaneous onset of labor is expected to occur. The due date may be estimated by adding 280 days ( 9 months and 7 days) to the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP). This is the method used by "pregnancy wheels"

•(+1Year -3months +7day)
•Form LMP(LAST MENSTRUAL PERIOD)

Let’s consider the example
Last date of menstrual period
23 October 2020

STAP-2
•Apply LMP (23 October 2020) date in formula
•+1year =23 oct 2021
• -3 months=23 July 2021
• +7 day = 30 July 2021
•Due date of pregnancy= 30 July 2021
