The Electromagnetic Spectrum
Theelectromagnetic spectrum represents the range of energy
from low energy, low frequency radio waves with long
wavelengths up to high energy, high frequency gamma waves
with small wavelengths.

•The vehicle/medium that carries the sensor

•A device that collects EMR and converts it to a signal that could be

Detects reflected EMR from objects that are irradiated from artificially-
generated sources, such as radar.
