Hand in week of April 11.
It counts as quiz.
Materials
*A nail
*Electric wire
*A switch
*Battery
*Clips or small metal objects
Instructions
-Wrap the wire tightly around the nail; don’t leave any space between loops.
Leave inches of wire at each end.
-Tape the wire to the negative pole of the battery.
-Tape the other wire to the switch.
-Connect other piece of wire from the switch to the battery.
-When turning switch on you must be able to pick up clips or metal objects.
*The more the loops the stronger the magnetic field.
*The more the voltage the stronger the electromagnet.
