Genesis – The Hybrid TukTuk Battle The Hybrid TukTuk Battle was organized by our technology partner Enviu to develop cleaner and more fuel-efficient auto rickshaws (http://hybridtuktuk.com) Involved 7 Universities – 4 from Netherlands and 3 from India Teams developed retro-fit kits for existing auto rickshaw engines The kit from the best team would be retrofitted on existing two and four stroke auto-rickshaws Kit expected to be market-ready by early 2011 En-cash on carbon credits to subsidize cost of kits/pass on benefits to the driver Winning Team Lower Emission Higher Mileage HAN University (Netherlands) NO-69%,HC-21%,CO-8%,particles-43%,CO2-37% 30-50%

10. Community co-ownership 10% equity shares of TWU-I will rest with community of drivers who are part of our system In addition to SHGs under various partner organizations, driver groups will be organized under city level driver bodies with TWU involvement
