5. Better advice to farmers…….
When an extension guide respond to a farmer’s outburst
of sorrow because of crop failure and debt….
Your problems and sorrows will going to end in this
coming season. You will get good yield in this crop
season…..You will become better off….

6. Empathy-A short Story!!!
•A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted
a sign advertising the pups and set about nailing it to a
post on the edge of his yard.
•At the same time one boy appeared there. He looked
down into the Eyes of a little boy. Mister," he said, "I want
to buy one of your puppies."
•He checked his pocket and got 1000 Rs from his pocket…
Is that enough to take a look?"
"Sure," said the farmer.

•The farmer let out a whistle,"Here,Dolly!" he called.
•Out from the doghouse, the dog came out... Little boy’s
eyes danced with delight.
•As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy
noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse.
•Slowly another little dog appeared; this One noticeably
smaller.
•In a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began
hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up....
•I want that one," the little boy said

•The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son,
you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run
and play with you like these other dogs would.“
•With that the little boy stepped back from the fence,
reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his
trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running
down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially
made shoe.
•Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I
don't run too well myself, and he will need Someone who
understands."

•The world is full of people who need someone who
understands.
How good it would be if we start empathising with the
weak people in our company and life and understand
them.

10. Fascinating Story…..
•In a country, there was an autocratic King and he
ordered that all the farmers in the country should have to
rear a particular animal and give a share of it to the King.
•The animal rearing was not suitable for a particular caste
people in that country.
•Because it was against their customs, values and
beliefs. But the people were feared about the King’s
order. They were so disappointed.

•But the other caste people(friends) visited these special
caste people and told them. “don’t worry”. We can help
you. We can convince the King about the practical
difficulty of this animal rearing….
