COLLECTIVE BARGAINING (CBA) Collective bargaining is a process between two parties, namely the employer and the union, where the terms and conditions of employment are fixed and agreed upon. In collective bargaining, the two parties also decide upon a method for resolving grievances. Collective bargaining results in a contract called a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING (CBA) Freedom of Association and the right to Collective Bargaining are fundamental rights for workers and employers to freely establish and join organizations of their own choosing, without fear of reprisal.

Discrimination Discrimination  is prejudicial treatment in the  workplace , which may affect hiring, firing, promotions, salary, job assignments, training, benefits and/or layoffs, based on a person's age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origins or disabilities.

Diversity In other words, a  diverse  workforce includes people with different characteristics.  Diversity in the workplace  means that a company's workforce includes people of varying gender, age, religion, race, ethnicity, cultural background, sexual orientation, religion, languages, education, abilities, etcetera.

Affirmative Action Affirmative action  is a policy in which an individual's color, race, sex, religion or national origin are taken into account to increase opportunities provided to an underrepresented part of society.

Affirmative Action Companies are working with International Labor Organizations (ILO) and other non-government institutions. Provides assistance to Promote Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining in the Philippines The Philippines ratified both key ILO Conventions: the  Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948 (No. 87)   and the  Right to Organise and Collective Bargaining Convention, 1949 (No. 98)  .
