Objectives of Presentation Presentation has been made with an objective:- When should be regular transfer conducted to meet Management by Objectives.
Introduction of Employee Transfer An Employee transfer is the process of transferring an employee from one position, department or location to another within the same organization. While Conduction Employee Transfer , Organization must be clear about concepts of Management By Objectives. In Practical Life, Organization sees only Interest of Organizational Objectives but try to neglect the need of employee.
Findings :- Every employee is working in organization to achieve goal . Beside it every employee have its own personal life. Here personal life stands for Spouse, children , there health ,caring, love , education and quality of life. While Working in Organization there seem two kind of employee First Employee :- Who have been settled . Have his own house and have almost his own driving vehicle in some place where he is working. Example, employee who have own house in Kathmandu , working in Kathmandu ( Head office or nearby branch) and staying with family. Second Employee :- Who is in struggle and living in rented flat. Example:- Working in Kathmandu in rented flat with family.
What to see when organization want to transfer Case Study First :- When employee gets transfer normally two things is observed (Staff who is married and have children). Example :- Ram is working at Head Office. He has own house in Kathmandu . He is married and have two children who are studying in class 3 and 5. As per organization need , Staff has been transfer to Butwal in the month of Kartik End. Observation first :- In this Case , By leaving his family in Kathmandu , Ram can go at Butwal. Observation Second :- As Ram cannot leave his family alone, he may want to take all family members with him . But due to child education in Kathmandu he cannot take them with him.
Case Study Second Example :- Hari is working in Head Office. He has taken flat on rent in Kathmandu and has invested 5 lakhs to purchase all required material ( Bed, Sofa , Washing Machine). He is married and have two child who are studying in class 3 and 5. As per organization need , Staff has been transfer to Butwal in the month of Kartik End. Observation First :- If he want to stay in Butwal, he have to manage rental expenses of both place . Kathmandu and Butwal. Observation Second :- If he want to leave Kathmandu and want to go Butwal with all family members , the investment of 5 lakhs can be problem ( How to manage/ worst of money). Beside it her wife have to wait for 5 month for child education in Kathmandu
Finding As today almost family are living in nuclear society and no one is there to take care of their child. Beside it, if worker are been hired to care child they charge high as well as caring is not observed as per expectation of Parents. In the both case study one common finding his found, if staff gets transfer and want to shift with family. Child education and Caring impact.
Solution As family life matters for Job holders. HR is suggested Transfer ( Circular) should be done on Falgun End which shall be effective from Baishakh one. One month time period should be given so that employee can manage things/ situation. Every School Academic Session (From Nursury to Class 10) starts from Baishak and End on Chitra . If it is done, one family can plan for child education and how to manage other expenses. This can be a concept to meet Management by objective in context of Nepal
Points which has not been presented in this presentation ( Kept silent) Job of spouse has been placed silent. If family members ( Father/ Mother) are old or suffering from diseases, this case has also been kept silent. Presentation has only spoke about regular transfer. Immediate/ Disciplinary action or other case of transfer is silent
