OBJECTIVES Provides protection of the rights of ownership and possession of properties owned by women insuring that such rights are not violated. To provide mechanism for the redressal of grievances related to the violation of these rights. To prevent deprivation of women from their property rights through harassment, coercion, force, fraud and misrepresentation.

COMPLAINT MECHANISM & PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE WHEN NO PROCEEDING IS PENDING IN THE COURT

Execution & Appeals Orders by ombudsman are to be executed as if they were decrees of civil court. Ombudsperson may direct any executive state functionary including Deputy commissioner concerned where the property of complainant is situated, to execute order in letter and spirit. To high court within 45 days.
BAR OF JURISDICTION No court or other authority shall have jurisdiction-: to question the validity of any action taken or order made to grant an injunction or stay any such proceeding of ombudsperson.
