1. We use the past continous to describe past events .

2 . We form the past continous with was / were + - ing form .

3 . “He wasn’t listening ” is an example of the past continuous negative .

4 . This is an example of a past continous question : Was he looking ?

5 . “ We wer e looking The London Eye when my friend fell in the river ” . In this sentence , the first verb is in the past continous .

6 . We use “ going to ” to talk about future plans and intentions .

7 . We also use “ going to ” to talk about things that we do every day .

8 . After “ going to ”, we use the infinitive of the verb .

9. This is an example of the “ going to ” future : he is going to see his sister .

10. To make a negative sentence , we add not before the words “ going to ”.
