A word that indicates that

What is a Singular noun?

1stRule
Add –s to make most nouns plural.
Examples:
Carrot = Carrots
Book = Books

2ndRule
Add –esto nouns ending in s, z, ch, x, tch, o, ssand sh.
Examples:
Tomato = Tomatoes

Potato = Potatoes

3rdRule
When a noun ends with a consonant and y, change y to iand add –es.
Examples:

When a noun ends with a vowel followed by a consonant ,change vowel to
–v and add –es.
Examples:
