In the activity that you have done, you have already shown your opinion about the issues happening within the community. You may choose to strongly agree or strongly disagree.
Taking a stand means to voice your opinion on issues that are happening. To make a stand is to determine effort to agree or disagree, to defend something and to oppose or commend something.
Here are the tips on how you can make a stand. 1. Look at your own experiences. 2. Collect information about the topic. 3. Always base your opinion on facts. 4. Know what is right and wrong. 5. Always be on the right side. 6. Narrate your opinion properly by stating all your reasons.
FACTS refers to a statement that can be proven real for all people and places, can be observed, historical, and 100% true. On the other hand, an OPINION refers to one’s feeling, thought, belief, or judgement that is not 100% true and cannot be proven .
