5. WHAT IS LITERATURE??? Literature is a collection of written work, , but it is also used more narrowly for writing specially considered to be an art form.

6. WHAT IS LITERATURE??? It is derived from the Latin “ litterature ” meaning “ written formed with letters,” It is most commonly refers to works of the creative imagination, including poetry, drama, fiction, nonfiction, journalism, and in some instances song.

7. What is heritage??? Heritage is the background from which ones comes, or any sort of inherited properly or goods..

8. What is diverse background??? Diverse background means differing from one another, with different interest and culture.

9. What is the purpose of literature??? Literature has been part of many different cultures for a long time. It reflects the ideas and the feelings or emotions of the author. Through literature we can share our cultures and traditions to others.

10. Why is literature a mirror of shared heritage of people with diverse background?

11. Whenever we stand in front of a mirror, we see our reflection. Whenever we read a piece of Literary work, we see the reflection of the heritage of a group of people its author belongs to, or of the group of people’s culture, customs, traditions and belief, which be different from yours.
