Entral route:
In general medicine, enteral drug administration is feeding by the
digestion process of a gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as the human
gastrointestinal tract.
Enteral administration involves the esophagus, stomach, and small and
large intestines .
Methods of administration include oral, sublingual, and rectal

Oral route of administration:
Oral administration is a route of administration where a substance is
taken through the mouth. Many medications are taken orally because
they are intended to have a systemic effect, reaching different parts of
the body via the bloodstream

Oral dosage forms:
Tablets
Capsules
Specialty tablet like buccal ,sublingual , or orally disintegrating
Liquids
Solutions
Suspensions
Syrups

Advantages:
It is more safer, more convenient
No assistance is required for administration
It is painless.
The medicament need not be sterile and so is cheaper

Disadvantages:
Sometimes inefficient – only part of the drug may be absorbed.
Irritation to gastric mucosa(nausea and vomiting.)
Effect too slow for emergencies.
Unpleasant taste of some drugs.
Unable to use in unconscious patient
