ADVANCED EXCEL - 24U5CAS03 Entering and Revising Data ENTERING DATA Selecting a Cell : Click on the cell where you want to enter data. The selected cell will be highlighted. Typing Data : Start typing the data directly into the selected cell. The data can be text, numbers, dates, or formulas. Confirming Entry : Press Enter to move to the cell below, Tab to move to the cell to the right, or use the arrow keys to navigate to other cells. Entering Data in Multiple Cells : To enter the same data in multiple cells:Select the cells by clicking and dragging, or hold down Ctrl while clicking individual cells. Type the data and press Ctrl + Enter.

Replacing Cell Content : Select the cell and start typing. The existing content will be replaced with the new entry. Using the Formula Bar : Click on the cell, then edit the content in the formula bar at the top of the worksheet. Undo and Redo : Press Ctrl + Z to undo the last action.
