Enterprise Network Design & Implementation Basavaprabhu A Nagaradinni CCNA | CCNP | VPN | ASA | FortiGate | LAN/WAN | Troubleshooting KLE BCA College, Dharwad Networkers Home – CCIE Security Track

Project Overview Objective: To design and implement a secure and scalable enterprise network. Tools Used: Cisco Routers, Switches, ASA Firewall, FortiGate Firewall, Wireless Controllers, EVE-NG, GNS3. Focus Areas: Routing, Switching, VPN, Network Security, Troubleshooting.

Network Design LAN Setup: VLANs for HR, Finance, IT, and Guest network. Inter-VLAN Routing: Using L3 Switch (SVIs). WAN Connectivity: Routers configured with OSPF and BGP. High Availability: HSRP/VRRP for gateway redundancy.

Security Implementation ACLs: Permit/deny rules for VLAN-to-VLAN traffic. NAT/PAT: Internet access for internal users. Firewalls: ASA & FortiGate for secure perimeter defense. VPNs: Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN for branch connectivity.

Key Configurations Routing Protocols: OSPF (intra-site), BGP (edge). Redundancy: HSRP/VRRP for default gateway. Wireless: SSID mapping to VLANs via Wireless Controller. Troubleshooting: Wireshark for packet capture & analysis.

Outcome & Benefits Centralized & secure LAN/WAN environment. Seamless remote access via VPN. High availability through redundancy protocols. Scalable design ready for cloud integration. Hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade networking & security.

Closing This project enhanced my practical knowledge in routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and troubleshooting. I am eager to apply these skills in real-world enterprise environments. Thank You 🙏
