What is Human Person? Human person is someone with an exact origin of his/her classification. There are three components composed of SOUL, MIND and SPIRIT.
What are the two general kinds to distinguish a human person? Cognitive Self - something within and cannot be physically seen. Physical Self -something can be seen in his/her physical appearance.
What is Embodied Spirit? Embodied spirit is an animating core living within each of us. It is known to be the driving force behind what we actually think, do and say.

objectives At the end of the lesson the students should be able to; 1. Define what is environmental philosophy is; 2. Notice disorder in the environment; and 3. To show appreciation on the importance of human person in the environment.
HUMAN PERSON A living being that contains a real and existing to direct its own development toward fulfilment through perfect, unconditional, and infinite truth, love, goodness, beauty, and unity, and will do so if all the proper conditions are met.(Spitzer1999).
ENVIRONMENT Environment is the sum total of all surroundings of a living organism, including natural forces and other living things, which provide conditions for development and growth as well as of danger and damage.(Endriga2017)
Environmental philosophy Environmental philosophy is the discipline that studies the moral relationships of human beings with the environment and its non-human contents. Like other sciences, philosophy also seeks to explore the relationship between humanity and the environment through environmental philosophy or environmental ethics.

Environmental philosophers Environmental philosophers as philosophers who tackle issues that is related to humanity’s role in the natural world, the interaction between nature and human activities, and humanity’s response to environmental challenges.
Three Major Perspectives In Environmental Ethics
Anthropocentrism A view that considers humans to be the most important species with a superior worth than other species. This view mainly focuses on humans and puts the other entities of the natural world at the background. Human beings continually destroy and consume natural resources for their own interest to the point of degradation, and worst to extinction.
Biocentrism It claims that humans are not the only important species on the earth and that they are not inherently greater to other living things. It suggests that humans are equal members of the environment and that humans and other living things are interdependent.
Ecocentrism This view believes that humankind is merely a portion of the biological system or community and that we have an vital role as guardians of nature. Ecocentrism tells us that both living and non-living organisms are reliant on the processes in the ecosystem .
