Slovakia:
our schools teach us from
young how to separate and not
waste. we even clean around
our school and at the same
time we are learning
In Slovakia, we learn more about
environmental than in Greece
the enviromental education in

Students learn about ecological
systems, climate change
Differences in learning about the environment in
Slovakia and Greece

3. Green roofs contribute to
environmental protection. They
absorb rainwater, reduce soil
erosion and provide shelter for
plants and animals.
Recreation area: The roof of the
SNFCC is open to the public and
serves as a recreation space. Visitors
can relax and admire the panorama of
Athens.

4. Natural gas is the main
source of electricity
generation in Greece.
They use the greenhouse in
lessons, where the pupils learn
how vegetables are grown .
For them, the greenhouse is more important,
because they live in a big city and they dont´t
know how to care about and grow plants.

5. In Greek school, there is almost no
separation and they have less rubbish
bins than in our school

6. They are very proud , because the
school was awarded for the work
they do in environmental field.
