disconnect between Holden and his comfort with men, I don t much like to see old

Introduction
Since the migration of the first group of homo sapiens from Sub Saharan Africa
millions of years ago, the diversification of the human cranium has grown
exponentially. As the population continues to intermix and increase, so will the
complexity in the features of the cranium. Diversification of the cranium will not
only be unique to the individual, but a key aspect of identifying that individual, if a
biological profile were to be compiled by a forensic anthropologist. Henceforth,
determining someone s ancestry from their cranium, is one of the most complicated
and unique aspects of the skeleton. So, must be examined with the utmost
consideration.
To determine the ancestry of a cranium, there are two potential aspects investigated;
the morphological features and metric points of the cranium. Morphological
determination uses specific features of the skull and is compared to standards already
published in literature. Metric, on the other hand, is the use of measurements
between specific landmarks on the cranium. Which can then be input into the
specialised computer programmes: FORDISC(Ousely Jantz, 1998) or
CRANID(Wright, 1992) to estimate the ancestry of that individual. There are
,however, benefits and flaws to each method, which can affect the reliability and
accuracy of the ancestry acclaimed.

This book is 189 pages making the quarter marks roughly every 47 pages The book
begins when these four kids are sent to live with a professor to escape the air raids
of ww2. On a rainy day, at the professor s house the the kids decide to explore the
house, Lucy the youngest of the four goes into a wardrobe to discover a snowy land.
In this snowy land she runs into a faun that is half human named Tumnus. Tumnus
tricks Lucy into going to his house in hopes of giving her to the White Witch. Tumnus
later feels guilty and he takes her back to the lamp post where she runs into the
wardrobe. Later the kids start playing hide and seek and Edmund followed Lucy
into Narnia. Instead of finding his sister he meets the White Witch, who puts a
spell on Edmund with Turkish Delights. Since Edmund was under this spell he
tells things about his brother and sisters that he shouldn t have. On Edmund and
Lucy s return, Lucy is excited that Edmund came to Narnia so now everyone
would believe her. However Edmund betrays her and lies about going to Narnia,
this makes the two oldest seek help from the Professor. I really enjoyed the part
when Tumnus is taking Lucy back to the lamp post and I guess he didn t

The Effect Of Sleep Deprivation On Seizure
A study on the effect of sleep deprivation on seizure in epilepsy disorder and its
relation to signaling bathways in the brain
People with seizure disorder usually have problems with their sleep. Daytime
sleepiness, lack of energy and drowsiness are frequently seen in epileptic patients.
Baseline electrical activity has been vastly studied in epilepsy. Seizures can be either
partial or generalized. Based on the area of the brain triggered by epileptic waves,
any kind of motor or sensory abnormalities can happen in partial seizure. If the whole
brain cortex is triggered, generalized tonic clonic seizure can happen, which is the
classic shaking of the body and loss of consciousness. Generalized seizures may be
followed by a post ictal period in which the patient will be heavily drowsy and may
experience memory loss for a short amount of time. It has been shown that epileptic
patients can reach threshold potentials more readily than the normal population and
lack of sleep can be a trigger for causing a seizure [1]. The circadian rhythm,
synchronizing role of thalamo cortical networks, and reduced intracortical inhibition
have been suggested as underlying physiologic factors elicited by sleep deprivation
that make a patient more prone to seizure activity.
The abnormal progress from resting potential to a wild epileptic wave can be
triggered by sleep deprivation as lack of sleep alters the neural resting potential.

Solar Cell Degradation in Space Abstract:
This paper will present the degradation of solar cell performance when exposed to
solar wind in space, particularly in the Van Allen belt region. Also, solar cell
theory is mathematically modeled and described using Matlab simulation software
accompanied by the SRIM software to generate the targeting data. Follow with the
degradation modeling of Si, InGaP/GaAs/Ge triple junction space solar cells when
are exposed to high energy charged particles, especially protons and electrons in the
Mega electron Volt range. In this model, carrier removal rate of the base layer and
damage coefficient of minority carrier diffusion length in each sub cell are
considered as radiation degradation parameters. In addition, this paper will present
the status of high radiation resistant solar cells made from Si, InGaP/GaAs/Ge for
space application to guarantee the successful operation of the satellite.

The United States judicial system says that you are innocent until proven guilty.
In language arts class we read a book called Monster, by Walter Dean Myers.
Monster is about a 16 year old boy named Steve Harmon, and how he had to go on
a trial for felony murder. The book is set as if Steve is making a screenplay. At the
end of the book Steve is proven innocent, and free to go, but I believe that there was
not enough information for Steve to be proven guilty. The jury did not see many parts
of the story that readers of the book Monster read, for example, in his journal Steve
writes about wanting to be like King, he also has flashbacks to before the crime
that show him interacting with other members of the crime, and finally he had a
lot of really close people doubting him. One reason I believe that Steve is guilty is
because of his journal. In Steve s journal he says, Anybody can walk into a
drugstore and look around. (115) This proves that Steve was helping to be a
lookout in the crime, which means he was an accomplice, and that he was in the
drugstore when the crime happened. It was me, I thought as I tried not to throw up,
that had wanted to be tough like them. Steve also writes in his journal (130). Steve
is writing that he wanted to be tough like King and his friends. This proves that he
wants to be like King, which might have influenced him to help with the crime.
Steve also writes in his journal, I knew she felt that I didn t do anything wrong. It
was me who wasn t sure. (148). Steve wrote this after talking with his mother. Steve is
doubting his own innocence, if he is doubting his innocence, then is he really
innocent? Steve has many flashbacks during the trial. One of his first flashbacks is
with Johnny, Peaches, and King. They sat together while King was planning to rob
the drugstore. King says, I need to get paid, man. I ain t got nothing between my
butt and the ground but a rag. (50) Steve agrees, I hear that. (50) This means that
Steve had at least known about the plan to rob the drugstore, and was there when
King was planning to rob the drugstore. In another flashback we read about Steve
talking to Oswaldo Cruz, another person who was helping to rob the

Trauma In The Sorrow Of War
Specifically in American soldiers, Almost 31 percent of Vietnam veterans [...] have
been affected by PTSD ( PTSD ). This means many soldiers have gone through a
traumatic experience during their time of war. Merriam Webster defines trauma as
A disordered psychic or behavioral state resulting from severe mental or emotional
stress or physical injury ( Trauma ). Kathleen M. O Connor, a professor at Columbia
Theological Seminary, states, Trauma Theory refers to a loose, interdisciplinary
conversation that investigates the lingering consequences of violence upon
individuals and communities (O Connor). The Sorrow of War by Bao Ninh can be
analyzed through a Trauma lens by asking what the causes and effects are of trauma,
and if there are any signs of addiction to trauma. Kien, the main character of the novel,
goes through many grim events that ultimately lead him to develop certain defense
mechanisms and a type of addiction.
Trauma Theory reveals that Kien s sorrow is derived from the Vietnam war and
