In today s society, men and women are looked at as equal, but it was not always like that. HBO s
famous TV show, The Game of Thrones, contradicts that. First of all, it is just a TV show, which
means it could have, and does have, some exaggerated parts, but it gives a representation of what life
was like for both males and females in the medieval times. In the show, Game of Thrones, the
producer goes against the stereotype that women cannot hold positions of power as well as men can.
