Eth i cs ---The word ethics is derived from the Greek w ord ethos which means character. ---To put it formally ethics is the branch of philosophy that defines what is good for the individual and for the society and establishes nature of obligation or duties that people owe towards themselves on one another and towards the society they live

- Surgical Ethics -Ethics is an essential discipline in the practice of surgery - Represent your best understanding of moral responsibility - Evolves as reasoned reflection on clinical experience -Ethical studies investigate what should be our character and conduct
