PURPOSE To define the procedures for planning, organizing and conducting of Continuous Assessment tests / model exam

PROCEDURES The Continuous Assessment tests / model examination are planned as per the schedule in Academic calendar.
PROCEDURE Macro Schedule Planning Principal in consultation with HODs plan the tests HODs submit the subject list along with Student list to the exam cell at the beginning of the semester
PROCEDURE Communication of the Macro Schedule to staff/students.
PROCEDURE Micro schedule planning Exam Cell prepares: - Date-wise schedule - Subject-wise staffing - Seating arrangements. Answer sheets authenticated by office seal and invigilator.
Question Paper Preparation Exam Cell collects 2 sets of question papers in the prescribed format from HODs one week in advance and prepares copies.
Micro schedule planning The Exam Cell prepares the detailed schedule for the conduct of Continuous Assessment tests/model exam. The micro scheduling Date-wise schedule of subjects Teaching staff - subjectwise The Exam Cell decides the seating arrangements for the Continuous Assessment tests/model exam. Before writing the examination, the answer sheets are properly authenticated by the office seal and by invigilating staff’s signature. The prepared question paper for the Continuous Assessment tests / model exam will be secured by the Exam Cell from the concerned HODs at least one week in advance and the required no. of copies are taken. A copy of the detailed schedule is displayed on the notice board for the information to the students.
Conduct of Theory Exams
Conduct of Practical Exams Model Practicals held last semester week with required notebook and experiment approvals. Conducted per University exam pattern.
Practical Exam Procedure Students follow steps for experiment approvals, setup, and submission, repeating exams if needed.
Evaluation of Assessments Teaching faculty: - Evaluate answer sheets within three days. - Logbook mark entry for each test/exam.
