Text : 1 Kings 17:1-3 And Elijah the Tishbite , who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth , before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith , that is before Jordan.

3. (v.3)- “Get [Move; Proceed; Depart] thee hence,…”

4. (v.3)- “And turn [turn toward] thee eastward,…”

5. We must be Deliberately Secretive (v.3) – “And hide [to hide oneself carefully] thyself by the brook [torrent-valley; wadi - a temporal stream] Cherith [Cutting] that is before Jordan [a river of Palestine approximately 200 miles].”

6. They that wait, On the Lord Shall renew their strength,

7. They shall mount up, With wings like eagles,

8. They will run, And not be weary, They will walk and not faint,

9. Teach me Lord, Teach me Lord, To wait.
