1. Making extension board Extension board(electrical) is an switch board with number of switches and plugs used for temporary electrical connections. It is used for temporary electrical connections of table fan, electric iron , music systems etc.

2. Aim Students will learn the making of extension board with witches, plugs, fuse and indicator. They will learn the electrical wiring with practical use. They will also learn the connection of fuse, indicator, switch, plug etc. they will learn the relation between load and current. Students will get the experience of making practical science projects and the concept of self-employment.

3. Material used Switch board of 03 switches and 03 five pin 05 amp plugs, with 01 fuse and 01 indicator. 03 switches (5amp) 03 five pin plugs (5amp) 1mm copper wire one meter

4. Materials required Tester Pliars Electric drill Wire cutter Multi meter

5. Procedure First take a switch board and fix the switches on it with the screw and tester. Fix the fuse and indicator Connect the switches , plugs, indicator, and fuse as per circuit diagram with the help of wire. Test the board with the help of multi meter. Connect the external wire for remote connections.
