The action role-playing game stands
out from all of the other open-world
games due to the fact that it’s an
astounding game. The Fallout Series
have been around for a long time and
it has been one of the most success-
ful games out there. In Fallout 4 you
can play first person or third person,
this doesn’t affect the gameplay at
all, it just makes the audience feel
more open by being able to switch to
first or third person. All of the Fall-
out’s that have been released have
only been single player due to the
fact it wants to have something dif-
ferent and that the audience is able
to enjoy the single player part of the
game more. The game is an action
role-playing due to the fact you have
to engage with different characters
and communicate with them while
making your own choices on what
you say.
There is many different ways you are able to
complete the game, which means that you have
a choice of different endings of the game. At the
start of the game you are introduced to the main
characters of the game that is the Sole Survivor
(which is the character you will be controlling)
you will have the choice to make the character
either female or male also on how the character
looks like. After you have chosen on how your
character looks like, you will be introduced to
your spouse, which is Nora. After you have had
a conversation with your wife you will get intro-
duced to Sole Survivor’s son who is Shaun. This
is just the starting of the game. You don’t have
to focus on the main story, you are able to ex-
plore and do guests whenever you want to make
sure you have good weapons to do the campaign
with, which will make it a lot easier. Fallout 4
brilliantly starts off the story off by introducing all
of the main characters to make sure the audience
understands the storyline due to the fact it’s a
new story and that it doesn’t carry on from previ-
ous Fallout’s.
The main character is put through a massive tragedy when his son was kidnapped right in front of him then he witnessed his own wife getting shot while he wasn’t able to do any-
thing. There are loads of characters within Fallout 4 but the main char-

Sole Survivor – The Sole Survivor
is the main protagonist of the sto-
ry due to the fact that you are the
character and you have to make
your own choices on what he/she
should do. You can either be a fe-
male or male, which means you
either have a husband or wife. Also
while having a husband or wife you
have a son called ‘Shaun’
Shaun – Shaun is the son of Sole
Survivor. Shaun was born around
the summer of 2077, just before
the nuclear explosions hit The Com-
monwealth. When he got taken to
Vault 111, two mysterious charac-
ters kidnapped him. Which made
Sole Survivor try and get his or hers
son back.
The game ‘Fallout 4’ isn’t exclusive on any console. Fallout 4 was released onto Xbox one, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows, because Bethesda game studios wants the audience to be able to play on any of the current generation consoles. All of the Fallout games were released on consoles and PC’s. It’s better to play the game on PC due to the fact if you have a good gaming PC you will be able to play the game on higher graphics to make sure the game looks outstanding. Whereas on PS4 and Xbox One they would of have had to make the graphics as best as they could to make sure it doesn’t get any FPS (Frames Per Second) drops.

purchase the game from a store, you
would have to be 18 because the game
contain blood, violence etc. The primary

because you can either become a male
or a female for the main character. The

because many people that might enjoy
this game will still be in university.
which is S.P.E.C.I.A.L, if you level up the letter C which stands for ‘Charisma’ you are able to persuade the person easier that you are interacting with. By having an open- world, you are able to interact with loads of people around it and help them out. Fallout 4 includes a very new feature that hasn’t been put in any of the other Fallout’s, which is building, throughout the game you are able to build your own town to make sure you can protect the people that are living within it.
I feel that Fallout 4 is the game of the year because it’s an ama?ing ZP' which makes the audience want to keep carrying on and find the characters son. I feel that the game is much enjoyable on PC because you are able to make the graphics look phenomenal. Throughout the game I came across some bugs, which didn’t disrupt me that much, but some bugs sometimes made me have to restart my game because it was stuck on a loading screen. Another problem I came across that some of the companions are very di8cult to control, for example if you are trying to do a stealth mission and ‘og-
meat’ runs into the middle of the room, you will get spotted straight away. But overall I feel that the game is one of the best games that has been released in 2015.
The progress throughout the start of the story is very basic whereas if you go like half way through the game it might be more dif-
ferent due to the fact that there are strong- er enemies trying to kill you.
To progress through the story could be challenging if you don’t do any of the quests on the side because the guns that you may be using might not affect any of the stronger enemies later on in the game. It’s very good to do ?uests to make sure you find new weapons. Also when you level up throughout the game you are able to learn new skills like, hacking, lock pick-
ing, accuracy etc. The gameplay appeals to the target audience because you have to be clever on what you chose because if you level up random skills they might not benefit you in the future so you have to make sure you know what you want to achieve at the end. Throughout the game you interact with many different charac- ters to find information about your missing son,the interactions are very developed because when you are communicating with someone you have different choic-
es on what you are able to say to them, throughout some conversations you are able given the choice to try and persuade someone into doing something. When you level up throughout the game, you are able to level up your skill tree,
Although there are some bugs throughout the game, the narrative of the game is ama?- ing, it doesn’t really need improving that much but there are some things that could be improved, such as the main storyline could stand out more than the quests. The graphics on PC are ama?ingV the world looks ama?- ing everywhere that you go, but the only let down is that when you look at the characters, most of them have really bad graphics where-
as the world looks ama?ing. The gameplay is ama?ing but the only problem that could be improved is the bugs that occur throughout the game. Overall I suggest that you should buy the game if you liked previous Fallout’s.
