A Guide For The Beginner
Take an adventure through this Farmtastic game while collecting
as many Cropsies as you can! Help Fidget the squirrel collect his
nuts, harvest adorable Super Cropsies and go on a quest to meet
exciting new Farm Heroes. Be careful and watch out for Rancid
Raccoon. He will pop up and try to stop you when you least
expect him. He is up to his old tricks again! He is using stolen
Super Cropsies to swindle prize money from the Country Show. It
is up to you to help defeat him. Grow and harvest the biggest
Super Cropsies and stop Rancid from ruining the fun for
everyone!
Each level you play will have goals and these will differ depending on
the game mode. You will be collecting cropsies such as water, carrot,
plum, tomato, pear or a banana). They all have different
personalities. The object of this game is to make a match of 3 or
more cropsies. The cool thing about this game is that an individual
cropsie can be worth more than one cropsie! You will notice that
some cropsies have a little number on their bottom right-hand
corner which represents how many cropsies it’s worth! If you collect
three cropsies and each has a little number two at the bottom, you
have actually collected six cropsies! Pay attention to this as it can
help you decide which matches to prioritize in the collection game
modes! Please watch this video.
Objective
When created in a level it provides a +2 bonus. When it is created in a level requiring a specific type of normal cropsie, it has a
value of 6-20 depending on the value of each cropsie that is used to combine a super cropsie. When created in a level with a
specific type of super cropsie, it has a yellow ribbon on the bottom right. When created nearby a squirrel, the squirrel
immediately swings its tail on a 5x5 range centering the squirrel. If there are nuts in the range, they will be collected. Creating
it near a goat, the goat immediately finds the nearest hay and collects it. When created right under the cloud, it will be super
charged to strike cropsies at 5 points immediately.

A match is three or more cropsies in a row/column. The more cropsies you match, the
more you collect and the better the effects! They gain extra value when you create a
match of four or above; all adjacent cropsies that are part of your collection goal will
gain 1 extra point of value! However, if they are normal cropsies, they will only hold
their value for one turn.
For instance:
-Collecting 4 cropsies will add 1 point of value to adjacent cropsie.
-5 cropsies in a row will remove all cropsies of the same type off the board.
-A T or L-shaped match of 5 cropsies will create a line blast that adds 2 points of value
to all affected Cropsies that are part of collection requirement.
The match you really want to look out for is matching 4 cropsies in a square, which will
create the all powerful Super Cropsie! It is super sized! It has extra points and
sometimes collecting super cropsies is a requirement depending on the game mode.
Collecting one is the same as collecting any other cropsie, you have to match it with two
or more cropsies of the same type but they don’t have to be Super Cropsies to make a
match.
Match Types
Boosters are those little helpers that can help you clear a level. They can be purchased from the store for gold bars or with
coins gained in from the country show!
The Boosters
Watering Can turns any cropsie into a super cropsie and adds 5 points to its value!
Gardening Gloveis almost magic! Its effect can change depending on the object you use it on.
If used on a cropsie -it collects it.
If used on ice -it breaks it.
If used on a flower -it grows it one stage.
Collection Basketwill collect all cropsies of any one type. Similar to creating a match of 5 cropsies.
Bucketor Water Bucketgoes through 3 stages. It will produce four water drop
cropsies on random spaces when the cropsies are matched nearby three times.
The Elements
Like in Farm Heroes Saga, Floweris a special goal that needs to be fully bloomed to
collect. To do this, the player must create 3 matches alongside of it.
Butterflies on the field have a special flowery basket which they can be collected into. To collect
them requires 2 consecutive matches of Cropsies next to where these Butterflies are. If successful,
these Butterflies will fly straight into the flowery basket. Failure to do so will cause these insects to
land on the spot once again, requiring another consecutive match to collect them.
Create matches that move the nut towards the squirrel. Once the nut is adjacent to the squirrel, it will swipe
its tail and collect it. If the player makes super cropsie or matches 30 cropsies right next to the squirrel, then it
will collect nuts in 5x5 squares.
Crow –make a match next to the Crow to collect her.
Clouds will move one square depending on the wind's direction. If the wind blows left to right, the cloud will
move to the right. When you match cropsies under the cloud, the cloud becomes darker. When you charge the
cloud on the last step, it randomly hits 5 cropsies on the board. It can also hit on-board characters like Eddie the
Goat, or squirrels Fidget and Darwin, to activate their special abilities immediately. These on-board characters
have priority in being hit by Cloud when the items they need to bring in (haystacks and acorns) are required
resources. The cloud can also be super-charged to its last stage in one single move, by simply creating a square
cropsie match (that creates a super cropsie) right under the cloud.
Windis a feature that appears on certain levels and will refill the board with Cropsies by following
the direction of your match. The direction of wind depends on the switching direction. For
example, if you create a horizontal match by swiping from left to right, the board will refill from
left to right after the match instead of top to bottom.
Riversmove lily pads in the direction of the water flow. Lily pads
can hold Cropsies and other surprises such as Squirrels and Goats.
For every move you make, the river will move the lily pad (and
whatever is on top of it) one space in the direction of its flow. The
river cannot be controlled, but its movement is predictable, so use
that to your advantage.
A new friend has found their way to the Farm! From level 1061
onward you will be able to see a cute little Hedgehog! The
change of season has woken up this sleepy new friend and you
can take care of him, with some guidance, care and their help,
to reach your goals! When you match Cropsies next to the
Hedgehog, it will wake up one stage.Make three matches and
the hedgehog will completely come out of it's sleep and be
able to help you with your tasks. Once it is awake, it will help
with its special move!Just double-tapon him and he will clear
Cropsies in all the immediate adjacent spaces around it.As a
bonus anything blocking your board (like leaves) will also be
reduced by one layer when the Hedgehog makes its special
move.Please watch the video.
How to handle a Hedgehog
What do the numbers mean on the Cropsies?
When you match next to a Cropsie you are required to collect, its value will temporarily increase, so a
Cropsie with a 2 is worth 2 Cropsies! The value will be reset immediately after your next move, so try
and match those Cropsies immediately to boost your collection total. Super Cropsies never lose their
value and if you create a match next to a Super Cropsie, their value increases faster than regular
Cropsies.
What do the numbers mean on the Goat or Squirrel?
The numbers on the Goat or Squirrel count down whenever you match next to them.
It’s like feeding the Goat or Squirrel with the value of the adjacent matches. Feeding
them Cropsies doesn't deduct anything from your targets and no Cropsies are hurt in
the process. Once the counter hits zero, the Goat or Squirrel will trigger a special move
that will help them collect Hay or Nuts for you!
What does Rancid do?
Rancid will sometimes appear in your game on random occasions and you will find him stealing
Cropsies to win the Country Show! If you beat him before he gets away, you will earn yourself a nice
bonus reward. If you do spot him, seize the opportunity to earn some extra coins and growth. He
will slow down your progress by throwing cans on the board that may get in the way of your
matches. Make a match next to a can to throw it back at Rancid, throwing him off balance. Hit him
with his own cans as often as possible and he will be defeated, leaving you with a nice reward at the
end of the level!
Game Modes
•Collection
•Flower
•Nut
•Hay
•Boss Mode
Collection is the primary game mode in Farm Heroes Super Saga and
generally other game modes are modifiers of collection. In collection
mode you have to collect a predetermined number of cropsies in order
to pass the level. You are generally given a number of turns in which to
do this. Failure to complete the objective with the amount of allotted
turns will result in failure of the level!
Super Cropsies are especially useful in collection mode as they are
worth more than your average cropsie, they gain point value way
quicker and they never lose their value, so it’s important to create
Super Cropsies whenever the chance arises.
Collection Mode
Flower Mode
In flower mode, you have to awake the sleepy flowers from their restful
slumber! You do this by creating matches next to them, the bigger the
match the more the flower buds. Once it’s fully open it will be
collected! Flowers can complicate things by blocking parts of the board,
not letting cropsies flow as freely as you’d like as you create matches,
which can make creating further matches even more complicated.
Nut Mode
This mode requires a few steps to complete which
makes it especially tricky! You will have to enlist
the help of our friend the squirrel in order to
collect the nuts. You have to create matches that
move the nut towards the squirrel, once the nut is
adjacent to the squirrel, it will swipe its tail and
collect it.
It’s a tricky mode that requires some forethought
but there are things you can do to make it a little
easier! The Squirrel has a special number counter
which decreases when a match is made directly
next to him. Once the Squirrel's counter reaches
zero, he will perform a special move that allows
him to extend his reach and collect nuts that are
within 2 spaces of his current location.
Hay Mode
Goats aren’t known to be the most cooperative of creatures so you’ll
have your work cut out for you wrangling this willful animal. In Hay
mode you have to convince the goat to chomp up all the hay by
creating matches that are aligned horizontally or vertically with the
goat. The goat will then move in a straight line, chomping any hay in his
way as he goes.
The Goat has a special counter. Make matches directly next to the Goat
to reduce his counter. Once the Goat's counter reaches zero, he will do
a special move that makes him jump to the nearest Hay spot instantly
to collect it!
Boss Mode
Rancid is not too happy with the idea of you
spoiling his fun, he can show up at any time and
make your progress a bit more difficult by
throwing garbage onto the board. To get rid of
him, create matches next to the garbage to throw
it at him. Eventually he will become dazed and run
off to lick his wounds! There are definite benefits
to kicking his behind. One, it’s fun to ruin his day
and two, defeating him gives your country show
plant an added boost!
Country Show
Every few days you are entered into a new Country Show where the aim is to grow
the biggest Cropsie that you can. All that you have to do is water and care for your
Cropsie until it’s ready for the show. Growing your Cropsie is easy and all you need
to do is play the game. Every time you play a level, win or lose, you earn Growth
points. If you pass the level then you get more Growth points, especially if you get 2
or 3 stars. All of your Growth points then go towards increasing the size of your
Cropsie. When you play with friends, you will also receive and send growth between
you and your connected friends to help each other out. The more levels you
complete the more Growth points you collect. Also the more 3 stars you can earn on
each level then the higher amount of Growth points you will be awarded.
There are 5 tiers in the Country Show with tier 1 being the best. It will take some
expert playing in order to gain the highest tier but it’s definitely worth it. You will
automatically be enrolled in the global Country Show when you complete episode 1.
When a Country Show finishes, you will automatically be enrolled in the next one.
1.When in doubt make a square match. It’s likely to be useful later
2.If one side of the board seems locked up, use Wind to move it and create space
3.Acorns under the leaves will always be hidden in the same place for that level
4.Matching at the bottom of the board causes more cascades
5.Try to remove Rancid’s cans as soon as possible
6.In general, removing the static item like Flowers and Ice is the best task to start on
first
7.If you don’t beat Rancid, he’ll come back soon after
8.In Show Time, you will get three moves to collect your Super Cropsies
9.You will always earn a little bit of Grown, even if you don’t pass the level
10.Making a Super Cropsie next to a Goat or Squirrel will power them up!
11.Take your time because there is no time limit. Firstly it will allow you to roughly
calculate where cropsieswill end upafter a match which in turn will help you make
better decisions. Secondly it will allow you to always make matches that will collect
the largest amount of cropsies.
