Fathers play your rightful roles in bringing up your children. Your role is so crucial in the lives of the children.

2. 4   And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord . Eph 6:4 " And fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up with Christian discipline and instruction .“

3. " You fathers, again, must not goad your children to resentment , but give them the instruction , and the correction , which belongs to Christian upbringing."

4. God's plan involves a restoration of fatherhood to its God-ordained place. Malachi 4:4-6

6. FATHERS MUST TAKE STEPS OF ACTION Every father must change his attitude toward his parental duties . Every father must understand the true value of children . Children are the only eternal things that you possess.

7. Every father must make his family a priority in his life. Every father must understand his responsibility to his family . Every father must be a role model for his family to follow.

8. Every father must realize the power that he has to change the future. Every father must accept his responsibility from God to be a godly father.

9. Psalm 128 Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table…

10. Psalm 128 …Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. The LORD bless you out of Zion, And may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Yes, may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel!

11. A father loves, teaches and disciplines his children Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it. Eph 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Col 3:21 Fathers, do not exasperate your children, so that they will not lose heart.

13. Disciplines is an expression of love to his children Heb 12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 14. Children with an involved father are observed to be more secure individuals. They feel less threatened and overwhelmed in situations and have better abilities for dealing with stressors and frustrations in their life. 15. Children whose fathers are actively involved in the parenting process are seen to have better social skills. A father’s way of interacting with the child in a playful stimulating way promotes the child’s ability to regulate their feelings and behaviors and also allows for learning how to deal with aggressive impulses and physical contact. 16. Thus, it helps enhance pro-social and positive behaviors in a child. This has a positive impact on their ability to form better social relationships. Given the significant influence and impact a father can have in spurring the health, development and well-being of a child it makes it imperative that increasingly father’s find ways of engaging in caring for their children.
